🚨 What to Do If Your Account Was Hacked (Buyer Edition)

If you suspect someone has gained access to your Resourcerer account, it’s important to act quickly to protect your information and prevent unauthorized purchases or messages.


🛑 Step 1: Secure Your Account

  1. Log in and change your password immediately
    Use a strong, unique password that you don’t use on any other websites.

  2. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (MFA)
    Add an extra layer of security in your account settings. This helps block unauthorized access, even if someone has your password.


📬 Step 2: Contact Support

If you can’t access your account or suspect something unusual has happened (e.g. fake orders, messages you didn’t send, or changed shipping info):

Include:

  • Your registered email address

  • A short description of what you noticed
