🔐 How We Keep Your Data Safe

At Resourcerer, protecting your personal information and account security is a top priority. Whether you're buying cards, selling inventory, or just browsing — we take every precaution to ensure your data is safe and handled responsibly. 🔒 What We Do to Keep You Secure 🔑 Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) We support and encourage the use of MFA for vendor and admin accounts. This adds an extra layer of protection by requiring a second verification step during login. Tip: Enable MFA in your account settings to secure your account even further. 🔐 Encrypted Data Handling Sensitive data is encrypted both in transit (using HTTPS) and, where appropriate, at rest. We do not store payment data ourselves — transactions are handled securely via Mollie, our payment provider. 👁️ Minimal Data Collection We only collect the information necessary to provide our services (e.g., email, shipping info, order data). We never sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. 🧾 Secure Vendor Payouts Vendor payment methods are stored securely, and payouts are reviewed before being processed. We never expose bank or payment details publicly. ⚙️ Smart Ticket Handling — No Backend Access Our support team does not have access to the platform's backend. Instead, tickets are automatically enriched based on the subject line and message content you provide. That’s why it’s very important to: - Include the correct subject tag (e.g. (order-issue) or (bug)) - Mention your order number if relevant - Provide clear, specific context If something is missing or misformatted, we may ask you to adjust your message or open a new ticket so the automation can kick in correctly. Only the CEO and CTO have backend access. Your data is never manually accessed by general support staff. 🔍 Monitoring & Internal Access Controls Our team operates on a principle of least privilege — access is strictly limited and logged. While all listings use stock images and we vet vendors carefully, this guide will help you avoid issues and buy with confidence. ⚠️ What to Watch Out For 💰 Unrealistic Prices If a deal looks too good to be true — especially for rare or high-demand cards — take a moment to verify the seller. Compare prices with similar listings. 🧑‍💼 Unknown or Unverified Vendors New vendors are welcome, but for extra peace of mind, we recommend buying from: - Verified vendors - Or the official Resourcerer Store 📦 Multiple High-Value Listings from a Brand-New Account This doesn’t automatically mean it’s a scam — but if a brand-new vendor lists many expensive cards without a sales history, it’s okay to be cautious. 🕳️ Incomplete or Vague Listing Notes If the card condition or edition isn’t clearly listed, consider reaching out before placing an order. ✅ How to Stay Safe - Look for the “Verified Vendor” badge - When in doubt, buy from the Resourcerer Store directly - Choose tracked and/or insured shipping options - Review the vendor’s profile and other listings - Reach out to the vendor via the “Talk to Vendor” button for clarification 📬 Want to Report Something? 🚨 What to Do If Your Account Was Hacked (Vendor Edition)

f you believe someone has gained unauthorized access to your vendor account — act fast. Your account contains sensitive data, listings, and payout settings, and protecting it is critical for your safety and your customers’ trust. 🛑 First: Stop the Damage 1. Log in and change your password immediately Use a strong, unique password you haven’t used anywhere else. 2. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (MFA) If you haven’t already, turn on MFA in your account settings to block future access attempts. 3. Check for changes Review your: - Listings and prices - Shipping settings - Payout/bank details - Messages and orders 📬 Next: Notify Support If you can’t access your account or believe malicious actions have been taken: Email us at 📬 support@resourcerer.eu Use the subject line: (security) Vendor account compromised Include: - Your registered email address - What you believe happened - When you noticed the issue - Any suspicious activity (e.g. payouts, pricing changes, messages you didn’t send) We’ll lock the account if needed and investigate immediately. 🧾 Important Notes - Resourcerer cannot refund payouts already processed if they were sent to a modified account — so time is critical - Only CEO and CTO have backend access; support staff will never see or reset your password manually 🧙 Prevent It from Happening Again - Always use MFA - Never reuse passwords between services - Don’t share your login — even with staff or colleagues - Be cautious of phishing emails or fake login links Your vendor reputation is important — and we’re here to help protect it.
